Description: Soulseek® is a unique ad-free, spyware free, and just plain free file sharing application. iSoul showed great promise, but it was abandoned years ago and never made it out of pre-final-release. If 'Check Ports' says 'Closed' then you are probably behind a router and/or firewall. Forward (re-direct) the port you use for Soulseek (for example 6234) from your router to your port 6234 on your PC (which has local LAN address). Based on peer-to-peer technology, virtual rooms allow you to meet people with the same interests, share information, and chat freely using real. iSoul is stable and works okay for those who only require the most basic functionality (and that may include many people), but for those who require the features and functionality SSK-QT may be the only way to go (sigh). I made a clean Windows 10 install and after installing SoulseekQt-.exe it won't run. SoulSeekQT has an absolutely awful user interface, isn't particularly intuitive, and in my experience is rather unstable, particularly when doing searches, and even moreso when closing multiple search tabs.
